My first doctor’s visit with my surgeon was on June 20th. Here is the message I sent to my prayer warriors: “I saw the surgeon today; he had the results of my CT scan. I will need to take 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. Then I will wait for 6 weeks and have surgery. The cancer is located in one area, but it is protruding the walls. It is located high enough that I should not need to have a permanent colostomy bag. I’m relieved in the findings and just knowing is a great relief. Thank you for your prayers in advance. I am truly thankful and blessed. I have an appointment Monday with the chemo-radiation doctor. All is well, have a blessed day.”
This is the text I sent to my sisters and sisters-in-law:
June 19, 2018, is when I started writing down scriptures.
Psalm 34:4, I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
