Fearfully And Wonderfully Made – #37

I went to the hospital to have my drainage tube removed, but it was not removed. Now I’m at 5 weeks and counting. My next hospital visit was moved 4 weeks out. We finished the bible study and it was truly a blessing. One night, I think we had bad weather, Rick and I had a bible study together. It was over Psalm 139:14, I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. We had the opportunity to talk about how my body had changed and how I am still and will always be fearfully and wonderfully made. Now I had to figure out what was next for the next few weeks? I had a nurse come to my home and tell me if I didn’t get off the sofa, that I would be confined to the bed (like forever). I needed to build my strength up for my chemo infusions and build up my muscles. I had already postponed my first chemo treatment, due to still having my drainage tube. My skin was starting to breakdown in areas so I had to change positions by propping pillows under me throughout the day and night. I started making some patio lights for the back yard. I used the eight-ounce water bottle from the water my nephew would bring me. I would drink 7 bottles of water a day, get up and drill a hole in the top, stick the light bulb through the hole and then superglue the hole. I would do this several times during the day. Most of the patio lights I saw had 10 to 20 bulbs. The one that I was making had 200 lights. Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk. John 5:8.
