No Weapon Shall Prosper – #6

Monday morning, the day before my CT scan.  I sent out a text to my prayer warriors: “Hello, I’m having my CT scan done tomorrow at 12:15 pm. I would like to have prayer tonight at 8:30 pm in my back yard. If you cannot attend please join us in prayer at 8:30 pm wherever you may be. I was feeling pretty good about the whole process and I was driving myself, but my sleep was a little restless last night and I have asked Rick to drive me. They are scanning 3 locations on my body; my prayer is that the cancer is centralized and that it has not increased in size if it is still present”.

Monday evening the deacons and deaconesses came to my house to pray. I had others join me in prayer wherever they were at 8:30 pm. We started with the song “Just to be in His presence”, we also sang “I know what prayer can do”, and a couple of other songs. What was powerful to me was my husband’s prayer. My husband prayed to my creator about his creation. My husband told the one who created me that He had created a “one-of-a-kind”. This is a “saying” that I will add to my list of “sayings to remember”.

Sayings to remember:

  • Everyone has the potential to become holy
  • Creating memories
  • Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of

my life

  • A “Peter” moment
  • My husband told my God I was a one-of-a-kind.

Monday night I slept like a baby. I woke up Tuesday morning and sent this text message to my prayer warrior: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Thank you for your prayers.”

I made it through the CT scan just fine.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.  Isaiah 54:17.
