This is just a song I wrote over 15 years ago. It has never been sung in public.
When my Father calls me home don’t be sad for me. When my Father calls me home don’t be sad for me. To be absent from this old body is to be present with the Lord and I will be up there with my Father being happy. Don’t shed no tear drops for me. Please don’t shed no tear drops for me. Cause I’ll be up there, with my Father, up in heaven. And I’ll be up there with my Father being happy. You may want to cry for yourself. You may want to cry for yourself. That’s alright we all go through but remember you have the Comforter and He will be there to see you through, yes, He will be there to see you through. You may be tired of this old world. My Savior, He is waiting for you, just open your heart and receive Him and you can see me up in heaven being happy. There no more crying up in heaven, we are just being happy, there no more dying up in heaven, we are just being happy. No more trails up in heaven, we are just being happy. No more tribulations up in heaven, we are just being happy. You too can see me up in heaven and we can be happy.
Be confident in your final destination.
Revelation 21:4, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
